Glenn Faucheux, founder of Faucheux Services, turned his passion into his business over 30 years ago by introducing the “airboat” to provide pipeline service needs to a local market. He fabricated his first airboat in 1966 out of wood and an aircraft engine. Shortly after, due to the oilfield industries demands, he began fabricating airboats from fiberglass then aluminum, today’s current fabricating standard.
Since the beginning of Faucheux Services in 1981, our craft of building and fabricating airboats, alongside our diverse service line has brought us to the forefront of this unique and multifaceted industry. Innovative thinking has now produced multi-engine airboats with stationary cranes, personnel baskets, Airboat with Lift Craneseismic drills and mounted backhoes. Our unique capability to pioneer and fabricate an in-house equipment line has allowed us to provide our customers with progressive and dependable service.
